WATER
TRAINING
Our SHEA Passport Scheme Water Training Programme has been developed through consultation with the water industry and encompasses the UAE region's specific requirements.
We produce and manage programme material in line with international regulations and codes of practice.
All training programmes will be delivered by our approved trainers.
The training programme consists of three levels.
1
Level One
Level One is delivered with an emphasis on the water industry, but can also be tailored to suit other industries such as gas or construction.
The Level One course is designed to give all learners the opportunity to fully understand the water industry and what is required to carry out their duties to internationally recognised standards in Safety, Water Hygiene and Construction Methods.
Level One content is reviewed periodically and consists of eight core modules specific to the water industry:

Highway Working and Excavations
Duration: 10 days
2
Level Two
Level Two concentrates on industry specific knowledge that will guide the learner through each area of their daily duties in the water industry. With a more hands-on approach the course is aimed at personnel that want to move further in to the industry and aim to become a fully qualified service or mains layer.
The course covers pipe selection, connection methodologies, testing and chlorination.
Duration: 20 days

Level Three
Level Three moves the learner in to a senior position controlling the physical works on-site and in to supervisory and managerial roles.
Through this programme the learner will gain valuable experience and a firm understanding of safety planning and managing complex water installations.
